02 / 11Capabilities

Nine modules, one revenue desk.

Forecast, price, restrict, distribute, audit. Each surface inside the RMS does one job well, and they share the same reservations data the rest of Prostay is already running on.

  • 01

    Dynamic Pricing

A live queue of rate suggestions. Each one tagged Strong, Moderate or Marginal, with the strategy that fired, the reason and the estimated revenue impact.

  • 02

    Autopilot

Six pricing strategies you turn on per property. Each runs Auto-Apply or Suggest Only, with a Conservative, Moderate or Aggressive level capping daily moves.

  • 03

    Rate Calendar

Per room type, per date, per rate plan. Manual overrides, auto-applied moves and pending suggestions are color-coded so you read the week in one glance.

  • 04

    Pricing Rules

Min, base and max per room. Stop Sell, CTA, CTD, Min/Max LOS per date. Strategy combination set to Additive, Compounded or Highest Wins.

  • 05

    Forecasting

Pickup, occupancy, ADR and RevPAR forecast 30, 60, 90 or 365 days out, with confidence bands, demand level and the drivers behind every day.

  • 06

    Pickup & Pace

Bookings on the books vs last year at the same point vs budget. Each arrival date marked Ahead, On Track or Behind, with a 90-day pickup curve.

  • 07

    Rate Parity

Per-channel rate scan against your direct rate. Undercut and overpriced violations triaged Critical, Warning, Info, with the OTA listing one click away.

  • 08

    Reports

Revenue, occupancy, channel, segment and room-type reports. Schedule daily, weekly or monthly exports straight into the inboxes that need them.

  • 09

    Activity & audit

Every rate change carries a timestamp, the strategy that fired, the room, the target plan and the reason. Filterable, exportable, undoable.

Autopilot

Six strategies. One revenue manager. No black box.

Turn on the strategies that match how the property actually books. Each one has its own configuration, its own scope (all channels, or Direct + rate push) and its own execution mode. The combination method is yours: add the percentages together, compound them, or take only the largest.

  • Occupancy-Based: high and low occupancy thresholds, with directional rate moves.
  • Lead Time: early-bird and last-minute windows, with their own discount curves.
  • Day of Week: weekend premium and midweek discount, applied per arrival.
  • Event & Season: peak / off-peak multipliers, set by hand or detected from history.
  • Competitor-Reactive: undercut, match or sit premium versus the comp set average.
  • Booking Pace: rate moves when bookings track ahead of or behind forecast.

Forecasting

A forecast that updates as the day changes.

Pickup, on-the-books and pace recalculated every fifteen minutes from the actual reservations sitting in the PMS. Confidence bands widen as the horizon stretches. Demand drivers (peak season, weekend premium, holiday window) show against every day, so the GM reads the forecast without reading the model.

Suggestions

Every rate change carries a reason.

When the RMS proposes a move you see the strategy that fired, the data behind it, the suggestion strength, and the cascade across rate plans and per-person tiers. Modify the rate before accepting, accept all pending in one batch, or leave a strategy on Suggest Only until you trust it.

How a suggestion is built

  • A strategy fires (e.g. Booking Pace +14% vs forecast).
  • The proposed rate is capped by the room’s min/max boundaries and the daily-change ceiling.
  • Strength is tagged Strong, Moderate or Marginal based on signal confidence.
  • Cascade preview shows derived plans, independent plans and per-person tiers.
  • Approve, modify, reject, or auto-apply. Either way the activity log records it.
07 / 11Use cases

For the moments where the spreadsheet finally gives up.

These are the operational moments where a generic RMS, or a manual one, fails. Prostay RMS was built for them.

Independent hotels

Stop pricing in spreadsheets.

Three strategies on Auto-Apply, three on Suggest Only. The GM keeps strategy, ceilings and brand intact, with one approve button instead of forty.

Multi-property groups

One revenue strategy, every property.

Group-wide BAR floors, max-daily-change limits and channel mix targets, with property-level overrides only inside ranges the corporate team approved.

Compression nights

Capture the spike before it is gone.

Booking Pace and Occupancy-Based strategies fire within minutes. Rates raised across all channels before the OTAs sell out the floor at last week’s price.

08 / 11Integrations

Powered by the rest of Prostay. Nothing else needed.

Prostay RMS reads reservations, rate plans, restrictions and channel data straight from the platform. There is no separate PMS connector to maintain, no rate-shopper subscription to manage, no BI export to schedule. It is one product.

  • Prostay Channel ManagerRate & restrictions push

09 / 11Compare

Built into the platform you already run on.

Standalone RMS tools live next to your PMS, your channel manager and your BI stack. They model what they can see through integrations, and they bill on top of every product they are stitched into. Prostay RMS does not.
