Prostay allows you to track unique visitors and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts. This guide shows Prostay users how to connect Google Analytics to monitor performance, adjust strategy, and grow bookings with real data, not guesswork.
To access this setting, Go To: Booking Engine > Customize.
Here's how to set up Google Analytics to track visitors.
- Navigate to the Google Analytics tab.
- Enter your unique Google Analytics ID.
- Enter a Primary Domain.
- Input a Google Adwords Conversion ID.
- Input a Google Adwords Conversion Label.
- Click “Save.”

How to Fill in Google Analytics Details.
Details | What it is | How to get it. |
Google Analytics Universal ID (Tracking ID) | The universal ID is the tracking ID for websites using Universal Analytics, an older version of GA. It tracks data such as users, sessions, and traffic sources. | Note: Universal Analytics has been deprecated as of July 1, 2023. New properties now use GA4 by default.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Measurement ID | This is the Google's new format for tracking website/app data. |

Google Adwords Conversion ID | It is a unique ID associated with your Google Ads account, specifically used to track conversions like purchases or form submissions after a click on your ad. |

Google Adwords Conversion Label | It identifies the specific converstion action (e.g., form submission, purchase) within your Ads account, so Google knows which action to track. |

Note: Copy Google Analytics details carefully. Missing one character render it ineffective.
