The right configurations help ensure that the booking engine aligns with your property's rules. Set preferences for guests' information fields, availability, accommodations, allotment, and more through the available settings on the booking engine.
This article will guide you through the booking engine's settings.
[1] Availability and Accommodations.
See how to select accommodation types that will be available for bookings on the booking engine.
- Choose how pricing should be displayed on the booking engine.
- Check the box to select which accommodations should be available for guests from the booking engine. Uncheck if you want all accommodations available.
- If the box is checked, select the preferred accommodation types.
- Click "save."

Note: To see the option for selecting which accommodation types can be chosen from the list, as shown in the screenshot above, first populate your accommodation types.. Learn how to add accommodation types here.
[2] Booking Engine Allotment.
See how to allot rooms and activate other related settings in the booking engine.
- Identify the accommodation types and allocate some for the booking engine. Add with the “plus” icon, and remove with the “Minus” icon. Note: you can't allot more than the total available accommodations.
- Checking the available box limits the number of accommodations of the same type that a guest is allowed to book.
- Check the second box to hide property location map.
- Click “Save.”

[3] Guest Information Fields.
This section contains guest field settings. It lets you determine the information required from the guest during the reservation and booking stages.
Click the checkbox beside each setting to activate it.
[4] Other Settings.
Control aspects such as confirmation emails, language, redirection for the confirmation page, and more.
- Check the box to enable automated confirmation email.
- Check the box to enable redirection on the confirmation page.
- Enter the redirect URL. This URL will be triggered when the count (from the next step) is over.
- Set the redirect timer. After the timer expires, the URL is triggered.
- Enable language translation by checking the box and selecting the supported languages.
- Enable currency conversion, and select the supported currencies from the list.
- Enable custom favicon and upload a preferred icon that will be displayed on the booking engine page.
- Click “Save.”
