This article answers several questions about restocking and reorders.
- Who handles reorders in the system?
- Can I assign a staff member to take care of low-stock items?
- How do I make someone responsible for inventory alerts or reordering?
- Is there a way to notify staff when stock hits the reorder point?
- How do I set up a staff role to manage supply orders?
If you've asked any of the questions above, here's the short answer to your query.
Prostay lets you assign users who will be notified when the reorder threshold of any item or service has been triggered.
This setting is found on the "Items and Services" page.
Here's how to pick users who will be notified when the reorder threshold is triggered.

- Select preferred users from the list of users.
- If you haven't created users, click here to create users.
- You can add custom emails if needed.
- You'll find the selected users under recipients.
- Click "Save."
